MTV Report on PS22 Chorus
The PS22 Chorus from Staten Island, New York, are really something special. We caught up with them a few months ago and got to see first hand why these kids continue to capture the attention of so many people in the music world.Last night the kids of PS22 popped up once again as part of the "VH1 Divas" show to help support the very awesome VH1 Save the Music Campaign. The Chorus was pre-taped for a few segments that came up throughout the show, where they covered some of the 2009 Divas' tracks, including an awesome take on Leona Lewis' "Bleeding Love." It was a great showing for the kids and really illustrated how important it is for us all to help support the arts and music in our schools.
The chorus, led by director Gregg Breinberg, has been burning up the internet in the past six months, with over 9 million viewings of their videos all over the Internet. With some great renditions of some of the most well-known pop songs from Lady Gaga to Coldplay the kids keep showcasing their killer sound and a great attitude. That, coupled with their passion, has even gotten love from some top-tier celebs including Ashton Kutcher, Alyssa Milano and Perez Hilton, who was so excited about their appearance on "Divas" that he posted about it on his blog. Though a good majority of the students graduated this past summer, we have no doubt that the choir of PS 22 will get a new crop of youthful singers to rejuvenate the crew and keep this thing going!

Have you ever wanted to buy tickets over the phone or online to a football game or a concert or anywhere for that matter and had to do it with your fingers crossed...well cross no more and buy without fear seats3d is a great website with and ever growing list of venues. Panoramic views are created with animation software and will allow you to pinpoint the particular seat location by section and row... Giving you an extremely realistic view of exactly the perspective of your seats from basketball setups to concert setups and everything in between. Kind of a specialized website predicated on the fact that not everyone in this economy has expendable income to put into the pocket of professional athletes... but still kind of cool and definitely worth the look.

Who Needs TV?
www.ovguide.com is a pretty good website with a flawless interface. OVGuide is basically a thorough directory site for all your online viewing needs. From legitimate sites like the FOX infused Hulu to obscure adult tube sites OVGuide has got you covered. However there is a relatively good amount of advertising that goes along with the convenience of such a site mostly of the pop up breed. Overall OVGuide is a pretty good place to learn about sites you may be unfamiliar with. As we all know of Youtube succumbing to the pressure of several watchdog groups... Definitely worth the click it takes to check it out... You may be pleasantly surprised.

Wal-Mart WTF!
www.peopleofwalmart.com is a quirky little website with an ever growing collection of pictures of some of the weirdest people who grace the mega million dollar department store chain. All in all its pretty entertaining however with the amount of content they have up to this point its only good for about a 1/2 hour or so worth of entertainment. One thing that we did think was kind of cool is in addition to being a relatively mean spirited and demeaning site to those who are lucky enough to have their pictures posted on it... the website does have a soft side and puts a charitable spin on their bottom line.

OMG! I LOVE that song...
www.yes.com is a great site for music fans and chatters alike. Have you ever heard a great song on the radio and didn't know the name? Well with www.yes.com those days are over as it keeps a constantly updated timeline of every song thats being played on each particular radio station. A chat interface is also available to users in addition to a Top 100 list each week for each individual radio station. All songs in both the Top 100 list and the hour by hour timeline are accompanied by links to wither buy on amazon or buy on iTunes which makes the site itself that much more useful. However we appreciated it for its value from a reference standpoint.

Y8.com is a directory site where literally well over 30,000 different flash format games are categorized. There is everything from cooking games to music games to baseball games available on this neatly organized site. One thing we really like about this site was the screen shot of every game listed. While some of the games were lame we did manage to find some that we enjoyed and if so inclined this is a great site to go to if you need to waste some serious time.

www.officialpsds.com is a cool website for those Photoshop enthusiasts out there. Although most .psd files in this collection are geared towards the hip hop music genre there are some gems in here that could be useful to a wider audience. For those unfamiliar with what a .psd is... it is generally a photo in which the background is removed. Many different graphic arts projects such as flyers, cd covers, posters, etc utilize .psd's..
Play Him Off Keyboard Cat...
www.playhimoffkeyboardcat.com is a goofy yet entertaining website. The website contains a collection of about 100 different clips pertaining to what has become an internet phenomenon in "Keyboard Cat". In addition there is an option to buy Keyboard Cat T-shirts as well..definitely worth the visit.
